I absolutely love all the buzz around Christmas. I love the carols and the cookies, the parties and the pies, the decorations and the desserts (and, yes, I know I included a lot of food in that line, but, hey, just being real here).
But, when I look at my calendar for the month, I’m a bit overwhelmed. Scratch that. I’m a LOT overwhelmed.
In this busy season, it’s easy to add a few pillows to your living room decor that say, “Jesus is the Reason for the Season.” But it’s harder to live out that truth when the holidays becomes about so much else.
This Advent, let’s clear the clutter for Christ.

Yes I always am left wondering why Christmas got so commercial and it is such a busy time of year that the true meaning of Christmas is forgotten. So let’s celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and think of Christ. Let’s also think of our loved ones, who are not here with us in the flesh, but are living eternal life with God
